Do you do cupcakes for special occasions?
Yes – any occasion, even a Friday at the office! Special orders require full payment in advance. Your statutory rights are not affected.
How do I care for a cupcake/cake from Swinky’s?
Provide it with a good home in form of a dry cupboard at room temperature. DO NOT PUT IN THE FRIDGE. Cold temperatures can dry out the cupcakes. DO NOT FREEZE – THE FROSTING IRONICALLY PREFERS STABLE ENVIRONMENTS!
Can I order on the day of collection?
You can order (or even just turn up) to pick from our fabulous range that we will be stocking that day.
Do you do bespoke creations – items not on the menu?
Yes! We invite (and strongly suggest!) that all of our customers arrange for a free cupcake consultation. Best advised for special occasions, the minimum order is 12 with £10 surcharge for that which is bespoken and any additional costs will be agreed at the consultation stage.
Do you cater for weddings?
Definitely – Please see order > special orders for a full understanding of our fantastic offer. We also offer a sliding scale discount for large orders – 5% for over 50, 10% for 100+ and 15% for orders over 150.
Can you write special messages on your cakes/cupcakes?
Yes we have our signature ‘Swinky’s ABC Letters’ which can spell up to six characters on one cupcake at 30p per cupcake. Alternately, we can hand write short messages in chocolate starting at £1 extra - just ask one of our amazing team for further advice.
Do you have dairy, gluten and nuts in your recipes?
Yes – we have all three throughout our ranges. We do offer vegan, gluten free and several nut free cakes that are made within an environment, which is not nut, gluten or dairy free.
Do you sell wholesale?
We are able to provide various retailers within the south-west from handmade chocolate bars, Easter eggs, chocolate novelties to our classic cakes and bakes.
